UPDATE Changes to Reception – 10th March 2025

We’d like to clarify a few queries we’ve received regarding reception procedures:

  • Our triage hub is now located upstairs in the surgery, alongside our telephonists, care navigation team, and triaging clinicians.
  • If you’re unable to access the internet and visit the surgery to request an appointment, the receptionist will take your name and contact number, and you will be added to the call-back list. A team member will call you back the same day to complete your triage form over the phone.
  • Patients without internet access can still complete the triage form by phone, but these calls will now be answered by the hub team instead of reception.
  • Additionally, an iPad will soon be available in the reception waiting area for patients without internet access, allowing them to complete the online triage form independently.

We hope this helps clarify the changes.

Changes to Our Reception Service – From Monday 10th March

We are making changes to the way our reception team works. From Monday 10th March, there will be one receptionist at the front desk, while a team of receptionists, care navigators and clinicians will be working together in our hub to triage appointment requests.

This means that when you visit the surgery, the receptionist at the front desk will not be able to complete a triage request with you. If you are unable to complete our online triage form yourself, the receptionist will take your contact details, and a member of our team will call you to complete the request over the phone.

Once your request has been submitted, it will be reviewed by our care navigation team, who will advise you on the most appropriate care for your needs.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we make these improvements
