Noticeboard

Booked Appointments

For your safety we are limiting the number of patients in the practice at any one time.  To help us with this:  Please may we ask that you do not arrive earlier than your appointment time.  Attend alone where possible. We ask that you please wear a face covering. When you arrive please ring the buzzer.  If the buzzer isn’t answered immediately, please be mindful that the receptionists may be busy taking calls.

Change in rules regarding face coverings It was announced yesterday that from July 24th 2020 everyone is required to wear a face covering when entering a shop or business. This is in addition to wearing one on Public Transport which has been mandatory for some time now. If you feel you are unable to wear a mask for auditory/sensory/breathing reasons, please visit www.keepsafe.org.uk/mask and download an exemption card for you to show if asked why you are not wearing one. Please note, it is NOT the responsibility or the role of the Surgery to issue anyone with an exemption letter or certificate. Please visit the website above for more information.

Thank you

If you have a prescription or medication to collect the Surgery will ONLY be open between 10am-12pm and 3pm and 5pm.  A member of staff will be at the side window in the porch area to assist you.

Repeat Prescriptions

The Practice has a computerised repeat prescription system. If your doctor wishes you to continue with any medication without requiring a further consultation each time you require a prescription, you will be given a printed list which will indicate the numbers of repeats of each drug which you are allowed before you must see a doctor again. Please ensure that you tick only the medication you require.

You must request a repeat prescription in writing. You can do this by returning your repeat slip to the surgery in person (if the surgery is closed please post through the letterbox), by post/fax or using our on-line services.

We are unable to accept telephone requests.

Please allow two clear working days for your repeat prescription to be processed. Remember to allow extra time for any postage requirements or Chemist/Pharmacy collections.

When you have had the last one, your slip will be highlighted to remind you to see a doctor before you require another prescription.

Please make an appointment in good time and do not wait until you have almost run out of medication.

Prescriptions

Two clear working days are required to process a prescription. Any prescriptions requests received before 12 noon will be counted on that day. If received after 12 noon then the first working day will be the next working day.
