Noticeboard

January 2020

We now have an appointment checking in touch screen in the waiting area of reception. This will save patients having to wait at reception to check in.

If you need assistance to be shown how to use it please ask a member of staff.

Missed Appointments -If you are unable to attend your appointment please inform the surgery so we are able to offer these to other patients.  In November there were 53 Doctor and 70 Nurse appointments that were unattended.

Prescription forms (ie not medication) are now collected from the Enquiries Desk.  Medication is collected from the Dispensary.

Hub Appointments

Extended Access to appointments now available in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley

Appointments are now available at a number of surgeries in the area weekdays and weekend, Hub appointments are only suitable for patients with acute medical problems.

Please note that the ‘HUB’ is unable to arrange prescriptions requests, Med 3 certificates or referrals, these can only be arranged by your usual surgery.

To find out more and to book one of these appointments please contact us to speak to the receptionist. You can also present yourself at the Whitehorse surgery at Northfleet who can also book these appointments if available or to use the walk-in service to sit and wait to see a health care professional (you are unable to see a nurse on the walk-in). The appointments won’t always be at this surgery but your notes will be available to the health care professional providing you give consent.

Please ring NHS 111 as usual if you need medical assistance when we are closed and it cannot wait until we reopen.
