We now have an appointment checking in touch screen in the waiting area of reception. This will save patients having to wait at reception to check in.

If you need assistance to be shown how to use it please ask a member of staff. 

 

Missed Appointments -If you are unable to attend your appointment please inform the surgery so we are able to offer these to other patients.  In November there were 53 Doctor and 70 Nurse appointments that were unattended.

Prescription forms (ie not medication) are now collected from the Enquiries Desk.  Medication is collected from the Dispensary.

Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • non_nhs_services3Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccination certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

Please allow at least 5 working days for completion of any forms.
